Applicants must be self-directed, highly motivated and professional with good communication skills both written and oral.

Qualified but not limited to installation/termination of CAT3, CAT5E, CAT6, and fiber optic cable, cross connecting phone systems, installing patch panels, etc.

Applicants must have reliable vehicle that can carry a 6 ft. ladder, should be in good health and physically fit.


Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the customer.

Develop floor plans and associated communications documents to present to the customer for final approval.

Estimate the resources, labor and materials needed to achieve project goals. (Quote/Bid).

Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones. (Construction schedule)

Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.

Effectively communicate project expectations and customer requirements to subcontractors in a timely and clear fashion.

Maintain communication with subcontractors, General Contractors and customers on an ongoing basis.

Where required, negotiate with other PM’s or Dispatch to acquire the resources necessary to complete the project.

Set and continually manage project expectations with local techs and subcontractors.

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts.

Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

Track project milestones and deliverables, materials and ensure they are submitted to Dispatch for processing.

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations to the customer and Dispatch.

Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Such as re-quoting or creating a new quote for customer approval, acquiring & ordering additional materials or rescheduling projects with Dispatch.

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and subcontractors, and influence them to take positive action and have accountability for their assigned work.

Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project and the business.

Maintain a positive relationship with the customer in order to expand the business relationship.

Able to perform voice/data field work as assigned and have knowledge of dial tone and VoIP. Work independently in the field.

Other duties as assigned by management. Flexibility is a must as project duties and tasks change as required by business needs.

Experience/knowledge in Access Control, Intrusion Projection, Security Installation and Design.


RCDD preffered

5-10 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry.
